Our Mission

Fort Saskatchewan Youth Basketball (FSYB) is a grassroots program that recognizes the

importance of teaching young athletes foundational basketball skills, teamwork and sportsmanship.

 Jr.NBA Program (ages 5-12 Elementary School Ages)

FSYB (ages 12-18 Jr/Sr High School Ages)

September 8- December 8, 2025

Jr. NBA/WNBA Youth Basketball (JNYB) is the official Youth Basketball program developed in partnership with Canada Basketball and NBA Canada.  JYNB is geared towards youth between the ages 5-12 with a focus on developing fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and a love for basketball.

Cost: Includes Practice and game time. Jersey, Shorts, Water bottle, Headband, Basketball (age appropriate size), parent guide, sticker, and participation certificate.

September 8- December 8

FSYB 13U / 15U / 18U Girls and Boys teams.  

This is an opportunity to hone in on your skills or try basketball for the first time and come and have a good time with your friends while finding confidence on the court.

This program includes 12 weeks of once a week practice (1hr or 1.5hrs depending on our gym time availability).  And 6 weeks of games. 

 Cost includes practice and game time and FSYB Jersey.

Cost: $215.00 (plus $27.00 Can. Basketball/ABA Annual Fee)

FSYB operates under FSMSA and Alberta Basketball Association

*Note that registration through RAMP requires proof of age of child (photo of government ID, and a photo of the child).

* All registrations are also subject to the ABA and Canada Basketball Fee as well as player fees totaling $27.00

We can not run this program without support from volunteers.  Please choose which volunteer capacity you are willing to take on for the 2025 season during registration.
